Summary

This is a test I threw together for a print-in-place project I am working on. It stands 1 inch tall, is about 2.5 inches wide, and has a range of internal distances. (.005,.01,.012,.015,.019,.022). .01-.019 are missing 0's at the beginning, my apologies. It is constructed of two inverted cones, with 0.1 in. spacers at the middle and ends. At 20% infill and 65mm/s, this takes about 4.5 hours. It features a range of internal spacings and features arms to help free prints if need be, except for the middle which should just spin freely. This test also has .008in chamfers on the bottom edges to help with elephants' foot. Tests like these are crucial to gauge your prints for print-in-place parts with small distances. Lastly, I would recommend initially ending the print early (maybe 20sih layers) if you are having problems with elephants' foot and assess if the bottom layers are fusing together rather than waiting for a full print to find that out.
