Summary

If you're designing for 3D Printing or you have a new printer, this tolerance tester will not only give you examples of the tolerances of your printer, but allow you to get a feel for how tight or loose you want to design your clearances for various purposes.

An 8mm Plunger is Printed and holes 8.0 - 12.0mm are relieved in a 2x1 Gridfinity Block. You can put the plunger in each of the holes to see how tightly your printer prints the actual dimensions as well as get a feel for the various clearances.

Clearances:
0 - 1mm (0.1mm Increments)
1 - 4mm (0.5mm Increments)

If you want to get the feel for an unprinted object as well, this was designed for an 8mm rod--I used a Craftsman 1/4" Socket Drive Extension (CMT43539) which measured to 8mm on calipers for the main rod section.
