This nut and washer fits a 3/8in bolt, the same as my and most other toilet seat fasteners come as.
You will need:
3/8in tap for the treads
The bolt is 3/8in and in my case of 1 1/4in length but measure yours before you get going.
Use the washer to avoid contact on ceramic & HAND tighten it only even if that hex tempts you to get a spanner on!
Cone goes towards the holes in your seat & are centering themselves.
