Some 501st TK Stormtrooper friends of mine told me about an issue they have at conventions when other TK's are around... they all have had TK "baseball" type cards made, but really don't have a great way to carry them around while trooping in costume. 501st and Rebel Legion members like to trade cards as a way to stay in touch. So one of my friends who I will attribute this design to... Gary Hill, had built a prototype out of spare plastic and he allowed me to measure it and reproduce it in a 3D model. This two-part model is meant to be glued together as the photos show. You might have to bore out the holes in the main body for the pegs to fit into (Someday I'll adjust the model). The clip portion should be laid down on it's side in your slicer program. (It prints better than way without supports). The larger hole in the main body is intended for your cards, and the smaller hole Gary uses to hold a pen or a Sharpee marker... something else they like having handy while trooping.
Now you TK's out there can print one out and carry your cards to share by clipping this little baby on your belt, just above the holster!
