Summary

This is a simple, compact card rack for the 5 face-up cards in the Ticket to Ride board game, designed especially for the larger playing cards like in "USA 1910," "Europe" etc. The design is intended to save space on your playing card table, while making it easier to pick up the cards without damage.

Advantages:

  1. Saves space on your card table
  2. Easier to pick up cards without damage
  3. Card faces can be seen from most any direction at the table
  4. Just the 5-card rack, to fit your own accessories
  5. Prints on smaller 3D printer beds (mine is 160mm x 160mm)
  6. Quick and easy printing - no supports needed for most printers

Though the card rack also works OK for the smaller cards, if you use only the smaller cards it may be best to scale the STL to print at about 90% or 85%, to make it easier to handle the cards during play.

The main STL has holes in the base plate, to save filament and print time. This prints fine on my printer, using the edge-down orientation as provided in the STL. If you have problems with the holes, I've also provided an STL without any holes.

The source FreeCAD files are provided in case you want to make your own modifications.
