Summary

Everyone owning a sewing kit knows the hazzle. You want to keep stuff organized but the thread keeps jumping off the spools. You have already tried using tape, glue, C4 or even an enraged badger, but no matter what you've tried you still don't feel completely satisfied. Sure, keeping an enraged badger in your sewing kit might solve the problem (at least it makes the thread not being properly attached to the spool your smallest problem when opening the sewing kit), but it's not a good solution.

This is a good solution.

Print the item, any printer with any setting should be able to handle it, if not you probably haven't got a 3d printer but rather some other device. If the device heats food it's probably a Microwave Oven for example. My point is... this is a very simple print.

The diameter of the spool thingy is about 7.7 mm, which fits my spools perfectly. Should you need a bigger or smaller diameter you can simply change it by scaling the model in the slicer.
