Thanks to "ri3del" for original design.
After reading trough the comments I decided to "beef up" the springs, chamfer the place where they join the rod and also lengthened the rod 5-6mm to fit an offbrand bobby car version (Audi style).

Works good for now but will se how long it will hold up with my 2yo playing with it.
