I tried to get this as close as possible to the Medallion Geralt wears in the new Witcher TV show on Netflix. I am HUGE Witcher fan (games, books and now the TV show), so wanted to create something to show my appreciation.
To get it looking like the real thing, I would recommend sanding it lightly, spraying with primer, then spray painting with either gun metal or silver spray paint. (always use spray paint in a well-ventilated area and wear a mask!)
Finally, dry brush the model using black paint, then dab off the excess. The black paint will remain in the crevices giving it a weathered look (and let's be honest Geralty is outdoors most of the time so that medallion is going to be looking pretty weathered!)
