In our Multimedia class we were given a challenge to make 3D printed toys that would fit in a vending machine capsule. The purpose of the project was to learn about 3D modeling and 3D printing and share this with our school and beyond. Each student was responsible for creating 5 designs, and learned about how to design models that don’t need support material or adhesion.
My design series is called “Dinky Devices”. The designs were made with love and care. Some challenges were modeling the details on the designs and actually coming up with an idea. The things I most like about the models are how they turned out, they turned out exactly how i had them sketched out.
The first model is a little phone with individual apps and a home button details.
The second model is a little laptop with a keyboard and mouse pad details.
The third model is a little tablet that is very similar to the phone as it also has individual apps and a home button as details.
Instructions
Print using no less than 20% fill. Default speed and heat, no supports or rafts.
