Trying to duplicate how the magic arm's connecting joint works. Using a ball joint added complexity and harder to used. Changed it up a bit and used an elbow type connection instead. So the idea is that you can set the rotation then use the screw cap to tighten in place. Then you can tighten how you want the angle to be.
It was a learning experience and figure out how to make parts screw in together but overall I'm not all that happy with how this joint works. I am going to do variation of the double ball joint that would perform the same function that this joint was designed to do but with much less complexity and increased ease of use.
