Hokiji Pagoda is one of the oldest wooden structures existing in the world. It was built 1,300 years ago and locates in Japan. It is amazing! The model design is based on the architectural plans. Each structural part is simulating the ancient carpenter work. Since the traditional Far East wooden structures were built up with interlocked wooden parts, you may setup this model accordingly. Although it is an art model, it is actually an education model, which would show you ancient Far Aast building history and tranditional amazing carpenter skills. It is not a toy, but you could give it to your children for education.
