Since uploading the original video on Instagram on August 2nd, we've received thousands of messages asking us to release the design! We love Open Source projects, so we naturally wanted to release our original model! The only problem was, it turned out there were a LOT of different phone types! Like, a LOT.

We decided the best (and most efficient!) way to address this was to create a brand new parametric model, one that could be remixed easily to create any kind of phone case with just a few tweaks! Using Thingiverse's Customizer, you can input your phone's dimensions and features, and the case will print perfect just for you!
This is still a Work-In-Progress, so we expect to be patching bugs and adding features over the coming days and weeks. This is also our first time using Customizer on such a large scale, so let us know if you run into any problems generating a case for your phone type!
We're thrilled and humbled by the community response to this model, and want to thank everyone who wanted to download a copy! We can't wait to see all the Makes and Remixes of our design!

We've included the .STL of the model used in the original video (with the painted buttons), which is made for an iPhone 5S. This version has not been made for any other phone, and was only made as a single prototype. We're still releasing it for download in case anyone wants to remix or adapt it for any other phones! It's a remix of the awesome design by ChrisIntravaia; be sure to check it out!
