A full-scale chicken foot mounted to a trophy base. Created in the Gensler Shanghai office in 2013.
We played around with the 123D Catch app on the iPad from Autodesk to create a 3D mesh of an actual chicken foot. We then downloaded the model to 123D Catch on our desktop, cleaned up the model a bit, and then sent it out via Autodesk’s 3D Print Utility to MakerWare. We then added the podium to the model from Sketchup, and setup the final print in MakerWare.
