I wanted a mag that I could use .50 cal paintballs in my talon claw. I brought it to a paintball field where they were playing .50 cal pump paintball (splatmaster).
I definitely was shooting the hardest of anyone, but I just stayed back and 'sniped'.
It's a bit hard to reload. I wish I could make some more improvements on it, but I haven't touched this in years. The balls do easily roll out once primed into the chamber if you tip it down at all.
Having ball detents like this out of TPU could fix that : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2016387 - This one was made for a pump paintball gun though, which I use and it works well. Would need to downsize it for a nerf blaster.

1st pic - loaded with ~10 balls and a dart on top to keep it together.
2nd pic - I used a busted dart as a buffer for pulling the follower down and locking it into place. Now you can take the dart out and load all your paintballs. Without the dart there the follower may slip and fly upwards shattering the catch.
3rd pic - I assembled it with 2 beat up half darts, it helps it keep it's form.
