The file 'Tevo Tornado / CR-10 Y-axis Reinforced Motor Mount 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 250.0KB.

Summary

The original mount of the Tevo Tornado Y-axis motor is made of aluminum plate and is very soft and thin! Just a piece of shit! At the slightest tension of the Y-axis belt, it bends, and "walks" during printing.
I decided to make another mount that works much more efficiently under load.
There are two options to choose from:
The first - for the stock.
The second - for antivibration damper.

When installing the damper, the motor and the shaft goes to the left side (if you look at the printer from the front). Because of this, it is necessary to push the pulley to the right side and it is half hanging in the air. I developed a special mounting model for use with a dampers.

UPDATE:

Now I made a new versions of the Y-axis motor holder. This new versions, which I called the SAS (Short and Stock) [see the pictures], the holder is 2.5 mm shorter in height, so that it does not interfere with my new extraordinary mod, which I am currently developing - the Universal Standalone Mod for next motherboard generation:
MKS Base 1.4/1.5, (the stock MB of old version the Tevo Tornado)
MKS Gen v1.4
MKS Gen-L
(With the ability integrate of Raspberry Pi)
I also expanded the mounting holes on the mounting “ears” so that you can use the stock screws, but you still need two additional T-nuts.

You will additionally need:
T-nuts M4 - 2 pcs.
