Wanted to give back to those that come after me. If you're looking to drop your rear subframe/chassis on a Model Y or 3, part of the Tesla service manual says to draw witness lines to help you realign on install. I went a step further, I designed a spacer which will get you exactly aligned just like from the factory. Happy to share the .stl file so you can 3D print these yourself.
I'll explain how this works, you put these spacers in, snug up the rear bolts and the front bolts, then you take one bolt out, remove the spacer, put the bolt back in and do the rest of them one-by-one. (See pictures). It worked awesome, no more dinking around with drawing non-precision witness lines and you're going to get a precision alignment.
