I recommend a raft as that will allow you to handle them easier and make it safer when cutting. Insert your knife tool under the open dome at one end and cut off the tops of your grass so the cap can be removed. Once glued to a base you can separate and spread out the pieces. Trim some stems to different heights to add convincing variation.
You can increase the scale and make them longer, wider or thinner but I have only tested these using a .2 nozzle. If you use a .4 nozzle you will want use the one labeled correctly as that is the smallest size you can print with that nozzle.
