Terracotta Female Figure, Tang Dynasty, height 36.6cm, width 10.5cm, thickness 9cm. Donated by Zheng Zhenduo.
Crafted from red terracotta, with traces of white glaze remaining on the surface. The female figurine stands upright on a shaped base. Her hair is styled in a high bun, with thin bangs framing her face, and her facial features are plump yet delicate. She has a thick neck and wears a cross-collared tunic with wide sleeves, paired with a chest-level floor-length skirt, revealing the tip of her upturned shoes. The folds of her sleeves and skirt can be clearly seen through incised lines. Her hands are concealed within her sleeves, clasped in front of her chest. A circular hole is present in the center of the base, indicating that the figurine is hollow inside.
