Summary

I created for my tenor saxophone a new mouth-piece. This since my high G tone sounded terrible. Apparently this is a typical Yamaha YTS 280 issue that so now and then pops-up.

This mouth-piece has the same main dimensions as the original Yamaha 4C mouth-piece, tip opening of 2mm. However after printing you have to smoothed the reed surface on a flat bed with sand paper (end with grain 400).
There you can adjust the tip opening to max 2.5 mm.
I made the inner chamber bigger than the original. It took me 4 samples to create a good fit to the saxophone (it comes to the little details!) and a nice smooth 'dark' sound. The high G doesn't 'oversteer' anymore!
