LED tea lights make great rocket motors! Print this rocket, insert an LED tea light in the bottom, and voila! Hang one with the light facing downward for a blast off effect, or print in translucent filament and light it from the inside. Either way, its a pretty cool way to add a little warmth to any room.
The opening is 38mm to accommodate the LED tea lights I purchased from a Hobby Lobby store for $2. You can purchase them online here.
To make this a hanging lamp, simply drill a small hole through the top of the nose cone. If printed properly the model is very light and can be hung with fishing line and a thumb tack so no one will notice that it's not actually flying! :P
If you make this, please let me know, or leave a comment how yours turned out.
