Tea filter bags are an excellent tool to prepare loose leaf tea. But when using them on a scale it is rather easy to spill leaves and other ingredients everywhere. To solve this minor annoyance, the bowl can be used directly on a scale. And afterwards, the (half) funnel on the top can be put inside the tea bag - this reduces the risk of spilled leaves during the transfer process immensely.
The uploaded STLs are for the two brands of paper filter tea bags I usually use. The 46mm (diameter) funnel fits without any problems and has enough room to move around. If it is still too big for other filter brands, then it is possible to adjust the size in the freecad (linkstage3 2022.04.30) files using the parameter spreadsheet ("funnel_top_radius").
I personally prefer the round version with 2.5mm walls. The simple 0.8mm wall version was the prototype which was faster to print for some initial tests. The round version on the pictures was sanded down to smooth the surface - but it is not really needed.
