This is a replacement for the lousy little squirrel cage fan on the Taz 5 Hexagon Hotend.
There is a Taz 6 mount you can make but I didn't want to have to print the entire assembly just to get a better fan on the vanes. This is a simple solution that I hope helps others than me. It required no modifications to the Taz other than wiring in the new fan.
It takes a 25mm M2 bolt w/washer to mount to the original cage fan hole, or you can do what I did and order 20mm bolts by mistake and have to drill out 5mm of the hole to make it fit. I don't recommend it. ;)
I had originally linked to a fan on Amazon, but that fan ended up sucking so I removed it from the description. Any 40mm 5V fan should work, keep the current rating to 20ma or below and you should be fine.
