The file 'Taranix QX7 Battery Cover With Balance Charge Port 2S 3S 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 3.2MB.
This is a screwed in replacement battery bay cover for the Taranis QX7.
On the original battery cover the bottom notches often break especially when using 3S 18650 batteries. Because these nothches kept breaking off and because I had to open up my QX7 everytime to balance charge the 3S 18650 battery I decided to make a battery hatch wich allows outside acces to the balance connector while still hiding and protecting it a bit.
I have included 3 types of hatches:
And included 2 types of balace connector covers, for 2S and for 3S plugs.
In order to attach the panel to my transmitter I took the back cover off and drilled two 3mm holes in bottom flanges of the battery bay, then inserted two M3x6 screws trough the holes to attach the 15mm spacers. Offcourse you have to do this at your own risk !
If you dont have any 15mm spacers around, you can find printable ones attached as well.
If you made this then please share your make!
