I started from the aprotim https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6465890 to generate spool for those tiny flimsy 10mm tape measure that I have millions at home. Then redrew it in fusion 360 while adding a rotating knob. The important feature of this knob is that regardless of the infill the core will be printed as a solid with a robust pattern that should prevent breaking it.
SmallTapemeasure-bettertolerance.stl has more clearance and should be easier to print
