This is not intended for heavy cutting. Typical use would include opening letters, cutting through tape, paper, string, paracord, and standard thickness cardboard. Please do not use excessive force, and always use safe cutting practices. Additionally we advise that you refrain from storing them in pockets, bags, or any other apparatus that requires you to reach into blindly in case the blade is unexpectedly exposed. We recommend keeping them on carabiners. User assumes all risk and liability.

There are two body versions available that both use the same slide:

Talon_Body_Locking
Features locking mechanism which keeps the blade inside the body. Two hands are needed to unlock and deploy the blade. This version is quite safe. We have not heard any reports of injury or malfunctions nor have we experienced any of our own.

Talon_Body_Snap
Uses snap mechanism instead of locking so the blade can be deployed with one hand. We received many requests for this version so we delivered however, it's important to note that the snap feature wears out over time and the blade can be deployed unintentionally. It is extremely important to monitor the wear and replace as necessary, and to refrain from storing in pockets, bags, etc.

Standard features include key ring location and breakdown mechanism for quick blade changes.
