It has been a natural thing to take out a coffee on a way to office, after a meal, and anytime. Though the amount of garbages from take-out coffee is increasing enormously and most of them are rarely recycled, there is no awareness about the issue.
The idea of ‘Takeout Garden’ reuses the plastic cups and caps to help you adorn your space with plants and flowers. 3d-printed stands and cups can be combined to work as a plant pot and vase. I tried to make it compact as possible, to easily print it out in about an hour. I know the idea cannot solve the problem dramatically, I just thought it would be great if people can look back their behaviors and realize that they are also playing a part here. So if you have a 3d-printer, you can start using it with your Starbucks tall size cup, (i’m planning to update different sizes, but it is compatible for small, regular size cups), and tell the others what it is if someone asks!
An image I uploaded as a thumbnail is ver 1, and as you can see, it was so weak. The file includes a newer version, with a bit different shape.
