Hi There, if you plan on downloading this model please consider leaving a like, posting a make, leaving a review, or even a donation. Thank You!

My brother asked me if I could 3D print him a Tai Chi Ruler. He mentioned the versions you find for sale online don't have the hole passing through the center which is a very important part of the ruler and the practice. I took measurements from his wooden version and then modeled it in Rhino 3D and printed it on my Prusa MK3. I split the model into three parts so it could be printed vertically without the use of supports. It assembles together with the use of four dowels and glue. You can use the variable layer height settings in your slicer to achieve a smooth top surface. I plan on printing it in wood PLA in the future.

Parts / Settings-
Tai_Chi_Ruler - 25% infill, Archimedean Chords top and bottom layers, seam position set to rear.

Tai_Chi_Ruler_Dowels - 100% infill, Concentric top and bottom layers, seam position set to rear.

The Tai Chi Ruler is an ancient form of Taoist yoga that uses the Tai Chi Ruler instrument along with 8 exercises to support health and wellness. The Tai Chi Ruler has been seen as having a relation to the proportion of the human body. The word Chih or Ruler denotes measure. This is the measure of the human body.
