Summary

General

This is a very simple (wall) mount for the Tado V3+ gateway. I do not know if it fits any previous versions. Its available with screw mount or DINrail if you a nerd like me.

Other than the mounting system both designs are the same. Printing orientations are different however.

Please don't mind the low printing quality in the pictures. I needed to do some testing on my new Kossel and cared more for speed than quality.

Fusion 360 files are included.

Screw mount version

Print it standing up from the build plate. The print should not require any supports and it should be very strong.

Mount with any 3 ~ 4mm screws. Tightening the screws to far could cause layer separation.

DINrail mount version

Print laying on its side. This is necessary for the strength of the DINrail clip. Other orientations will likely cause the layers to separate. The DINrail clip should not require any supports.

You will need supports on the inside. Don't use a pattern that is to solid, or it will be a pain in the ass to get the supports out.

Depending on the calibration of your printer and the shrinking of the material, the clip may be a little larger or smaller than needed. If so increase or decrease scale with a few %.

Credits to darealmoo for designing the DINrail clip. I used his design as a base for mine.
