The file 'Swan Boat For Matchbox Carousel 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 154.8MB.
I've been working on a vintage Matchbox Carousel restoration, and one of the pieces that is quite difficult to get now is the swan boat bench, as seen at the left side of the photo. This was essentially shortpacked in the 90's when these were released and fairly expensive as well since it was part of a three piece set.
I've done a pretty close approximation of the swan boat, with a few extra "bubbles" that I thought might be fun since the prototype shows a few more bubbles and some little diamante accents which didn't make it to production. If you want to add some rhinestones I recommend dremmeling some small cavities on your resin print and gluing them in, they would have been in the base.
I have designed the base to fit over the Matchbox Carousel horse stands mounted to the Carousel turntable. You can also print the swan alone if you so desire and fit it over the top of the bases. It won't look as composed but it would be easier to display on the original stands if you have one of those.
I recommend resin for the highest quality details on the feathers and the texture but you can certainly print in PLA if you so desire. The base works well in either, although if you want to dremmel it I recommend resin.
I've included photos of a resin print of the swan, plus one of a PLA print and one of a resin print of the base. They both fit very nicely but as you can see some of the layer lines do appear on the PLA.
Next up is probably one of the lions.
I have updated with a slightly more correct interior since I found a photo from the top down, plus an extra detail, the carousel name on the back!
