A wrist mount to allow for bungee fitting of a Suunto Eon Steel dive computer to your wrist. Three benefits over the traditional rubber strap :
- Adjusts to your suit compressing with depth.
- Moves away from a single point of failure - with the original strap, if either of the pins or the strap itself fails, then it's bye-bye expensive computer, hello dodgy ascent. With a bungee mount, BOTH bungee loops or both pins have to fail for this to happen.
- If one of the bungee cords is damaged/looks suspect, it's easy to replace in the middle of a diving holiday/on a boat etc, versus waiting days for a strap to arrive in the post.
Printed at 100% infill - firstly, it's stronger, secondly any air space inside a design for SCUBA kit will be compressed at depth, possibly leading to internal damage weakening the design without being visible. No no no.
