Replacement bowls for a SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder
These can be relatively expensive, even when purchased from eBay and the like, so I decided to design (Fusion 360) and print my own for a third of the price.
I modified the split design by making the compartments a different size so the feeder would easily take a whole pâté in the larger section with the smaller one being used for dry food.
I've also designed & printed a slow-feed version for pets which gulp their food.
The bowls are printed using PETG which can be hand-washed using standard dishwashing detergent. Every two or three feeds I give the bowls a spray & 15 minute soak with 1% domestic bleach solution (10ml concentrated domestic bleach made up to 1 litre with tap water) followed by a thorough rinse (the tricks you learn from a COVID pandemic!)
You could further protect the eating surfaces by applying a clear lacquer if you feel that is necessary.
There is no silicone lip on the rim but this doesn't seem to have made any difference to the keeping quality/state of the soft food (not that it remains in the bowl that long with the doggies I have in this house!)
In addition to the .STL files I have, as usual, attached the .STP files so you can modify the designs using your own preferred design software. The .FFF file containing the printer settings I used in my slicer (S3D) is also attached.
