This is a support for an RPSMA antenna plug for the FrSky Taranis RC controller, replacing the built in fixed antenna. The support fits an unmodified case, and is quite sturdy. Should also work for an SMA connector, if you so prefer.
Build with thick top/bottom layers (e.g. 1.0 mm) and reasonably high in-fill. I used PLA, but ABS may possibly be better.
You can fine tune the tolerance parameter for a perfect fit with your printer.
It needs two M3 screws for assembly, either cylinder head or recessed.
The threaded holes should be tread using an M3 tap, or use the version with two M3 nuts instead. The version with the nuts is probably stronger, and preferred.
A description of how to replace the fixed antenna with an external connector is here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2129736 RPSMA pig tails and 2.4 GHz antennas (and uFL PCB coax connectors, if desired) are readily available from many places, for instance Adafruit.
