Summary

My Heart of Metal 2 pen broke in the most inconvenient spot, so I was unable to repair it satisfactorily. Turns out, you can easily remove the insert and use it in other things. I happened to have a Waterman Expert Rollerball pen frame I wasn't using, so I made this.

For this model, I made it so it turns into precisely the shape of a rollerball insert. You may need to trim the SuperNote refill a little on the flange to get it to fit in the pen itself, but the refill inside this adapter makes it fit anywhere a rollerball refill of this type will fit.

I have not tested it, but this should work in most pens that support these types of refills, which is a pretty standard size. You can see the pictures a comparison of the roller ball refill next to the SuperNote insert. Do mind Ratta's instructions for construction of the pen (no metal tips or it interferes with the operation).

[Edit] Uploaded V3 - adjusted length (longer) by .1 mm. The previous one was not quite long enough, and the insert would slide in slightly. This new version removes that behavior entirely in my pen. Changed the sketch dimensions as well.
