Zoom flukes fall apart quickly when fishing for halibut, so I wanted to make a mold to re-melt them into fresh usable flukes. After searching the web I found that there were no Molds to be found that are printable, so I made my own.
my favorite way to make this is to slice in cura with mold settings on, check left a photo above for the settings I use. this creates a negative of the mold which you can pour silicone in to.
The results with FDM are good enough to fish with though an SLA or MSLA printer would make much nicer results
"Single Cav Mold" files have alignment tabs designed with zero tolerance and may not fit easily if printed in resin, they are designed to be used to create a silicone mold.
