This planter attaches to a window using suction cups. I designed this because I wanted to grow herbs indoors, but have a really small house with limited window and counter space. It is based on the bonnie pots that are commonly sold in Walmart and other stores. Slide three medium suction cups like these up the channels on the back. Wet the suction cups with water before attaching to the window to improve the suction. There is no drainage hole on the bottom so the plants should be watered sparingly. This will also help to reduce the weight of the pot.
