I included his stl in these files because it combines the building and decor into one object instead of 2 and prints correctly that way. All credit goes to him for fixing it.

11-11-2019 update: I fixed the fancy tower so that it is treated as one object in your slicer rather than the tower with another object on top of it. This makes a much better print. I also uploaded a Standard_Tower.gcode, this is the gcode i used to print the tower on my Ender 3, and it was the gcode the tower was designed around. It gives you nice layers that run concentric layers on each layer and make a very sturdy tower.

I received my Collector's Edition of Suburbia, and was very pleased with everything in the box, with exception of the tower. I got the feeling they had something more grandiose in mind, but settled for what we got in the box because of some limitations.

I wanted to create a tower that could light up like a skyscraper at night, which I think was probably the original intent.

I came up with this design. It is 3 pieces, the body of the tower, a thin sheath that slides in the tower that acts as a light diffuser for the windows, and finally a hexagon for the helipad at the top of the tower.

In the files there is a standard tower that is similar in design to the original cardboard tower. A Fancy tower that has some stone detail added to it, and a plain tower for anyone who would like to add their own design for windows and facade.

I spent a lot of time designing, printing, and fixing the 3d file, so if you are able and want to send me a tip I am grateful. This file is free to download and use, if you use it to make a remixed design it must also be given away freely.
