Summary

This is a larger, stronger version of my clip-on hook for standard wire shelves. I was able to hang a 35lb kettlebell from it (the only heavy thing nearby) without it breaking, as the photo shows. I do NOT actually recommend this for hanging things that heavy. My guess is that very heavy objects will eventually fatigue and break PLA (my current material), and drop said objects, possibly to the detriment of anything/person underneath.

The shelves these are designed for are very common in hardware stores, Sam's, office stores etc (see photos showing shelf). I deepened the snapping mechanism a bit from my other design, so these fit very snugly with a satisfying "snap." They are also removable.

The force from anything that hangs from them is primarily vertical, whereas horizontal force at one of the clips is needed for removal.

I use these to hang Acco clips that have papers and files attached to them; headsets; glasses; rolls of filament or baskets of small parts. They would be useful in a retail or showroom environment if you use this type of wire shelf. Experiment to see what you're comfortable hanging from them, and what they're useful for, and let me know :)

SolveSpace file is included.
