Summary

This DJI O3 VTX mount was designed with the following specifications:

  • Mounting without disconnecting antenna or camera
  • Compatible with the original 11 cm VTX-camera cable.
  • 4 sides abundant ventilation
  • Removable for battery installation
  • Reversible for storage : flip the support, antenna facing downwards
  • Easy access to the power cable, USB, and SD card
  • Minimum drag.

Installation:

  • Cut out (or melt with soldering iron) 4 small notches for the mount's legs
  • Glue the reinforcement plate onto the canopy, then cut out the inside
  • I plan to paint the top of the O3 VTX in white to limit heating by solar radiation.

Avoid PLA because the VTX heats up above 60°C; PETG works well.
