I really liked this sanding block design, but I use these common (at least here in US) 1" strip rolls that come in a box of four grits. I remixed the sanding blocks to accommodate the 1" wide strips and created a holder to keep the box of rolls and the sanding blocks together.
I ended up using m3x20mm screws (I think the sanding strips are a bit thicker than what the OP was using).
Hardware:
2 x m3x20 screws
2 x m3 nuts
I've included versions for the grits in the assortment box I buy as well as a blank one. STEP files are included so you can modify to suit your needs.
I didn't end up using the screw caps, but I did put a drop of CA glue on the screw heads after tightening them down so that they wouldn't turn.
