I made a cone/strands splitter for a model rope walk (shipmodeling)
You can make a cable way on top of your rope walk to hang it on and the let it go along your rope walk when making ropes.
I used 3 ball bearings with grove ( U623ZZ 3x12x4mm) like these on AliExpress

M3 screws to fasten them.
There are 2 bearing holders, one short and one long. Depends on your rope walk. You can shorten the long one to your length you need.
