the open versions tend to show stringing that can be removed. but it's not to everyones liking, so: choose your model.
useful if you don't like the dangling power cable stressing the usb-c port. or if you have a stand with an usb-c dock with a short and stiff cable (dockteck d00003 7in1 in my case with this nice stand: https://www.printables.com/model/232919-steam-deck-stand-for-dockteck-hub).
the popular 90° adapters put even more leverage on the port, so i designed a little helper to make kind of a 180° adapter.
