Summary

This is my take on a number of different initiatives that both add to Zigma51’s amazing organizer (thing: 4220293) and enable it to work with the Unfinished Business expansion:

Unfinished Business:
These are things that are updated or created by the release of the Unfinished Business expansion. If you do not have this expansion, these things will not work for you.

-AmbitionTray: This is an adaptation of Zigma51’s dashboard holder (thing:4209859) to include the new dashboard section, Ambition, from the expansion. It fits nicely on the right side of the playerboard, and contains a holder for goal tokens which hover over the respective spots on the ambition cards. This will require supports to build. Print 1 per player, so 4 or 6.

I found a few other adaptations of a box organizer to include the expansion on thingiverse but could not print them on my bed. As such I put together an updated collection which requires Zigma51’s mapholder (printed in whole if you can, or separately), QuadDaddy’s standee frames(thing:3724664), and Zigma51’s card holder; so go print those too.

-CreditHolder: Same concept as Zigma51’s design. Redesigned to include a bit more space for the additional credits and to include tapered walls to help pick out the pieces. Print 1.

-DamageGoalHolder: Same as CreditHolder, redesigned to better fit and to include tapered walls. Print 1.

-DataBankHolder: with the inclusion of many new cards and the new AI deck, there is no more space in Zigma51’s card holder for the Databank. This is therefore a separate holder for storage and can be placed on the table to help keep the databank tidy. Print 1.

-DebtHolder: Holds the Debt tokens. Print 1.

-ReputationHolder: This holds up to 6 sets of Kandyhouse’s Reputation sliders (thing:3703820). Print 1.

The following three trays fit nicely on top and of the maps inside Zigma51’s mapholder even with the additional ships, map sections, and ambition cards within:

-DiscardTray: Same as Zigma51’s design. Resized to fit the MapHolder box. I also use it to store greendog99’s partrol stands(thing:4723212), and any other misc pieces. Print 1.

-DiceHolder: nice and compact to hold the dice and to place in the play area for easy organization. Print 1.

-ContactPatrolHolder: a Reimagined holder to fit the map box, and hold the new orange contacts. Also within is an additional location to store the clips and infamy counters. Print 1.

6-Player
I figure so long as you have enough player boards and standees, there should be no reason you can’t play 6 player (or more). I have not had a chance to play such a game (not enough nerdy friends.. or not nerdy enough friends), so I can’t say how it plays.
On top of the items below, you’ll need the following (I think); enough [laminated] photocopies of the starting ships, and some sort of 2nd player action for the player on the other side of the table to keep people interested between turns. My thought (again, not tested) is for the ‘2nd player’ to earn 2000 credits (no movement or damage recovery) and either take 1 or two actions (market action as normal after the 1st player if they are on a planet), XOR a location encounter (Navpoint or planet encounter). Let me know if you get a chance to try this larger game and what works for you. Pieces include the following for 6 players:

-PlayerBoard: a reconstruction of the playerboard. Note, I increased the available infamy point counter to 25 as the base game seemed to be over before it began. This is less necessary with the expansion, but kept anyways. This should fit in Zigma51’s dashboard holder. Print 2 if not the next thing.

-PlayerboardTrimmed: Same as above, but trimmed on the sides to better fit smaller print beds (mine is 220x220, but could not fit the above boards. This is what is shown in the pictures, and really does not detract from the aesthetics Print 2 if not the last thing.

-InfCounter: I needed to print these Infamy Counters to use with the new printed player boards. However, they fit in the original player board nicely and can allow you to match colours with the dashboard holders. Print 6.
Otherwise, you’ll need to print 6 (instead of 4) of Zigma51’s dashboard holders, and QuadDaddy’s standee frames, and my Ambition trays for the expansion.

Storage Solution and additional pieces:
-6xDashboardHolder: A rather large (but still printable on a 220x220 print bed) storage tray to hold 6 sets of the dashboard holders including my Ambition addition. I will update later with a 4-capacity version; as well as a version of each (x4 and x6) without space for the Ambition trays for those of you who do not have the expansion). Print 1.

-ClipSide/ClipEnd: These are used to clip together the credit tray and the damage/goal indicator trays. I didn’t like how they shifted independently from one another. Print 12; 2 for each player

You’ll need one ClipSide and one ClipEnd for this purpose if you’re using Zigma51’s organizer design. If you are using my updated organizer for unfinished business, you’ll want 2x ClipEnd for the indicator/credit holders, and 2 for each player to clip together the dashboard holders.
