The Star Cross was a medal awarded to members of Starfleet for distinguished actions.
It was one of many commendations Jonathan Archer earned during his career.
Another recipient of this medal was Captain Philippa Georgiou, in the 23rd century. This medal was displayed on the wall opposite her desk in her ready room aboard the USS Shenzhou in 2256.
The award was one of the decorations held by Commander Data in 2365.
