Summary

Here's our first scan with the MakerBot Digitizer. We're building the Digitizer to be an affordable, simple 3D scanning tool that fits on your desktop and works perfectly with our MakerBot Desktop 3D Printers. Along those lines, we have some great progress to show you.
We have ears! This has been a real challenge - the trick is how the bunny is positioned on the platform during a scan. We're happy to see two nice ears with no material in between.
The overall shape is captured really well, too, and all the major features - ears, eyes, nose, tail, paws, are well shaped, but not quite perfect.

Note from Bre: I spent a lot of time searching for the ceramic model that Stanford scanned back in the day. After a few years, it popped up on eBay and we made a scan of it.
