I never felt like I could accurately measure how tall I was so I made these simple measuring tape attachments. They should work for most measuring tapes. You might want to check how wide your measuring tape is before you print this. mine is one inch across.
One piece is to hold the measuring tape. One is to slide until it touches your head. The last one is to stand on. If you want it to be less permanent just print the last two. I made a couple variations of the bottom part for if you want to screw it into the wall. Feel free to edit or make changes to this design. I just printed it with PLA.
