The file 'Squiddy-B Inspired Balisong 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 206.35 KB.

Summary

Design based on the Squid Industries Squiddy-B
made for 3d printing

Only reference pictures and official size specifications were used to develop this model.
The blade model is different to the original one since i dont want to violate your business success nor copy their product 1:1.

If every counterweight is installed the flipping experience is actually very good i think for a 3D printed Balisong.

Depending on your printer if you have more or less of an elephant foot then me, you might end up with more or less distance between your handles in open position. In that case feel free to write me, I can upload more files with different sizes since a knife with e.g. touching handles is no fun to flip and doesn't looks as good as it could.

Edit: if your Handels slap try the squiddy_blade02mm.stl

I hope you have just as much fun with this model as I have.
If you have any questions, suggestions, want another file or change something, etc. feel free to let me know.

I wish you delight with the model.

Parts:

  • each file once
  • 3x M4 screws and nuts (13mm complete height, I recommend just cutting them down)
    • Third screw is a counterweight at the top of the blade, which i highly recommend for better flipping experience.
  • 2x 13mm M3 thread or something with Ø3mm thats hard enough to work as Zen-Pins
  • 2x 13mm M8 thread (or pure Ø8mm metal, whatever is heavy enough to work as an counterweight at the end of each handle)
    • an alternative would be to put M4 screw with two or three nuts into the handles
