The file 'Springo Macaron 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 4.0MB.
Funny and satisfying springo-toy.
It consists of 3 parts: 2 (identical) Side pieces - top and bottom cookie shells, and the Center piece - cream filling. There are two variants of the filling: Smooth and Twisty.
The Side part has a built-in spring (print-in-place) which can be connected and interlocked with the Center part.
How to print:
Both Center parts don't require supports for the middle ring overhang, it should be fine because of bridges. However, you can enable supports for this surface too, for better quality.
Also, there is a trick with clearances in these Center models. The clearances in the bottom (upside-down) section are slightly larger than in the top one. This is done to compensate for sagging of the overhang. Don't print them upside down!
All 3 models are already in the correct orientation.
How to assemble:
First, prepare the spring on the Side part. You need to separate the layers of the spring with any pointy thing, e.g. a knife (be careful not to injure yourself while doing it).
Then you can connect the Center piece with the spring. Just put the spring ring into the Center and rotate it to secure everything in place.
Do this with both sides, and here you have a finished, freshly-baked delicious Macaron!
