Summary

I had troubles finding a working retention holster for the Springfield Hellcat, a pistol rising in popularity recently including a purchase of my own.

This post will be updated as new variants come out; whats on here is whats newest. Prototype 1 is the barebones holster with no attachments or belt clips. Prototype 2 is the Moonbeam Mounting Adaptation of the Holster. Free parts to use with this holster can be found under "MOONBEAM MOUNTING SYSTEM" collection of parts. The Belt module is what you'll want.

This holster should hold the handgun in by retaining the trigger guard. if printed properly, the gun wont shift around or fall out, even when shaken upside down, yet draw relatively easy.

You'll need a small bolt and matching nut to mount the two, however I'm working on an easy-insert locker for the system.

Moonbeam Mounting System is part of Project Moonbeam, a social engineering undertaking to attempt to normalize the picatinny rail, typically only used on firearms, into everyday life. You can find a lot of the MMS modules on my Thingiverse Profile!
