Sometimes you need a spring, why not do it yourself. In my case, I have a torsion spring that breaks at regular intervals. I have repaired it provisionally all the time. The spring is not available to buy in a store, so you must buy a whole new lock for a lot of money. Then it hit me, why not make a tool that is easy to bring with me in my RV.
Winder body can handle two different mandrel diameters, 6mm and 8mm.
You need a mandrel and piano / spring wire. Wire diameter max approx. 1.2mm. You can make both right / left turn springs.
On the screw knob there is a small hole for an M3 insert thread for the countersunk screw. The screw is for moving the wire around the mandrel.
NOTE Be careful and wear safety goggles before using the tool
