My dealings with these magnetic setups and their lack in strength, as well as relatively being very expensive, Has led me to this...
Still using the 10mm Ball-tipped carbon rods, but replacing the magnets with springs, and the cups are just designed into the effector-plate and runners.
much smoother movement with virtually no friction on the joints, and they don't pop off for the slightest of unhindered travel.
